I'm going to do my best to post once a month. Keep checking back.

8 Months

What Ryder has been up to this month:
*Scooting ever so subtly to things
*Rolling over and sleeping on his belly
*Waking up at 6 AM on the dot almost (sleeps about 11 hours a night with two naps)
*Perfecting his hand coordination
*Flipping through little cardboard books
*Saying Mama (my personal fav)
*Entertaining himself with his toys for long periods of time
*Preferring his football and soccer ball over other toys
*Wearing mostly 6-9 month clothes with some 3-6 month shirts
*Pulling himself up
*Teething (bottom right tooth)

Okay Maybe He Does Look A Bit Like Me

When Will I Ever Learn

You think after nearly eight months I would have known better. You were wrong. He was standing up and peed on me. The nerve! It's a long story, but I will say that there was nothing I could but let him finish his business to avoid an even bigger mess. Don't you dare fall for his "What's the matter momma" face in this picture. He's guilty as can be.

Ryder's Very First Pull Up

I noticed he was attempting to pull himself up, so I asked Brandon to bring the camera. So this is his the very first time he has ever pulled himself up on anything. Gotta love modern technology!

"And I'm a Mac"

Everything Has Multiple Uses When You Have a Baby

It's been hard to get a good picture as of late. Ryder is always looking the other direction, grabbing for the camera, chomping on his fingers to ease his toothing pain. What does that equal? More videos. I am having a blast with this stage. Ryder will squeal with delight at just about anything. Plus he can entertain himself quite nicely for a relatively long period of time.

Moving On

It's been weeks since he used his swing or Bumbo, so I decided to get out this musical toy a co-worker of Brandon's passed down to us. Ryder had a blast. I stood him up to play with it. He can't pull himself up yet.
Ryder has been saying Da-da ALL DAY. I'm not exaggerating. ALL DAY! I don't know if he just rediscovered he could make the "D" sound or what. Currently Brandon is getting him ready for bed, and Ryder is saying it over and over and over. Brandon is one proud papa.

Handy Work

Last night I neatly put all this away. Then he awoke and began his masterpiece.
